Quad & Newsman Evaluation

QUAD;

Quad magazine is a univirsitie alumni magazine, in my evaluation i pointed out that the pictures are all f a similar size and conlour so its hard to tell which is the 'main' image and the title is very bold and big buy also boring and doesnt influence the reader what so ever.

Audience - Univirsitie graduates

Age Group - 22+

NEWSMAN;

Newsman is also a magazine for a univiritie but not for graduates but to try and attract new people to the univirsitie, this magazine is aimed at a younger audience and is alot better layed out, you can see a mixture of colorful and eye catching images and its clear to see with is the one of the most importance, the black board with writing on it, it takes u the most room its in the centre of the page and in the most contrasting colours( Black on white)

Age - from 15+

in media we analysed a front cover on a womans health magazine.

i listed the ways the company has grabbed attention and influenced the reader to buy the magazine

the smart selling lines, the big picture and even the colours of the text background and pictures

Nature Magazine

This is my cover for a nature magazine which I created myself using a picture I took, uploaded and edited myself. and designed to look like the cover of a nature magazine.

It is clearly evident that my skills in photoshop are limited but to the best of my ability, there is my nature magazine cover.

Photoshop

My skills in Photoshop are very limited so i am looking forward to learn how to use it to help with my media work.
